I absoulutly enjoy Lynda.com...for the money I think it is the best one.
I highly recommend the video from luminous-landscape.com for about $60.
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/videos/lr4_combo.shtmlVery thorough, easy to watch, and the guys really know their stuff. (If you google Jeff Schewe, you'll find that he works with the Adobe software developers and has lots of inside knowledge. Some of the features in LR and Photoshop come from his input.)
I do agree with sodapop's comment that books are easier to reference when you're trying to find a specific tool.
Yes, I have been using lynda.com as well for Lr4 learning and love it so far. There are numerous videos produced by Chris Orwig that are excellent. You can try out lynda.com for 7 days free.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will take a look at all the free tutorials then decide on downloading so they will be on my computer all the time.

I purchased Lightroom 4 awhile back and would like recommendation for download tutorials. I'm considering Laura Shoe Digital Workshop or Hal Schmitt (Elephorm) .
Hi,
If you can wait a couple of days, I'll let you know about Hal Schmitt. I'm taking his class this weekend.

Hi Rob,
That's not a problem I can wait.

I bought Hal Schmitt he's excellent.
I agree. Kelby book and Kelby Video training are top notch, Very easy to follow,

I prefer books like Kelby. I generally have to go back a and review the steps to an action several times and find it easier to reviewwith a step by step book than a video. But.....that's just me. Be sure to upgrade the LR 4 to 4.3 and have fun with it!!

If you are just starting on Lightroom 4 Phil Steele's tutorial is great. I have been through it several times and as I try new things I set up my iPad next to my PC and follow along on the PC, starting and stoping the video as I need to make the adjustments, or work with folders or whatever. It works good for me. I also have the Kelby book for detailed references.
