Today I would like to see how you use light to make your photos have that personal look, your own touch of the use of light and also what light does as a second subject such as shadows. I will not touch shadows today..well maybe a bit, not much though.

I would like to see every aspect of light from sunlight to Coors Light which means that you have a football field on which to work.

Indirect I suppose. I used available indoor window light for my grand son then about 4-months old with my Canon t1i, 50mm f/1.8, 1/200,
ISO 400, hand held.

Those side light shots are neat. Your 50mm is a fixed lens?

Different effect. I like what you did. I like how you use light.

Mary, indirect lighting is so much fun to play with, you changes the angles, and if inside you can change the luminosity and also the angles from your lamp and outside in the morning or evening the lighting changes quick so the options are out of sight. When the sun sets...never leave!

GOOD MORNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGggg

Yes today is all about lighting and the way we use it and what else it does.

Let me start out the day with sunrise lighting..

So I used, as always for low light, Tv and the first two were taken from a pool. Yes 6:00AM in a pool to catch early morning light and also the job that light does when it is at a low angle and it hits the spray almost on its own level

pg 1 all I can say is outstanding!

Thank you so much Annette...Hope you're all right with the near future....

This is what you get when playing with B&W, Saturation, contrast and a cup of coffee.

The sun is in back but by sliding sliders I found a way to light up lines on the tree. I would hate to wake up in the middle of the night and look out the window and see something like that

Living in PA near DE, I've been to Dover (The Monster Mile) a couple times. It's amazing how steep the track is in the corners.

I did have a chance, years ago, to go to Daytona..it is huge compared to Dover! But Dover does have it's excitement. Been past Pocono and Richmond but never went to a race at either. Didn't follow the circuit last year, hopefully this year, I'll have more time.
