4 weeks into shooting. I use my wifes camera and a borrowed lens. Advice is welcome.
Welcome to the hog Muddog. You will find so many people here will give you every kind of advice you can imagine.
picture 1 makes a great candid shot. Your daughter looks to be in deep thought.
picture 2 an excellent shot of a beautiful young lady !!! If you can get rid of the person in the background the shot would be even better.
picture 3 is good except for the tractor taking "center stage."

Thank you Rich for the advice. I am always open to it.
Thank you Spearwolfe for your view of my work. It opened my eyes to a new way of looking through the lens. Thank all of you for a warm welcome and useful comments. I already want a bunch of new toys to play with.
If the tractor isn't moving then the work is not getting done. LOL
Nice photos. Welcome to UHH. Hope to see many more photos soon :)
Is she setting on a 430? I grew up on a '37 A, '48 G and '52 50. I guess that's why my body is broken down like an old Murry riding mower. To much hand starting the A, too much non-power steering on the G and too much working on the lemon 50. Cute kid though. Wait until she gets 15-16 years old and you'll wonder where that cute kid went to (experience raising 3 daughters and 2 sons.) Since it appears the JD is restored, a great way to make a tractor or automobile look good is to hose them down with water and shoot in the evening sun. Makes them look like they have clear coat 3" thick.
And welcome. Lots of sage advice on this site.
Welcome to the forum. I like your pictures. They are really good. You will learn a lot on this site. The people are always so helpful. You are just down the road from me. I live in Holden Beach. Stop by Bible Baptist Thrift Store sometime and say Hi!!!!!
I tell her the same thing about the yard rake. No work unless it is moving.
