Wowser on #4!!! What camera and lens?
I'd like to say I have some amazing equipment but all I used was my trusty Fuji HS10 and it's own macro. The others were using the same camera but I did a little bit of editing using free online sites. Because I'm on a seriously limited budget my whole ethos is to maximise what I can without breaking the bank. Glad you like the picture :)

Glad your here. Those are 1st rate photo's, and you've got yourself a pretty cool and capable camera with it's big zoom.

Thanks James. I love the HS10. Its got enough features for me to get to grips with as it is. Ideally I would like to try and win some new equipment. Maybe it will happen or maybe it won't, but it's an aim.

I'm new here since 3 or 4 weeks ago so thought I should upload some pictures. I've done a bit of fiddling with cropping and a bit of colour popping with one of them. Hope they're ok and any criticisms, comments are appreciated to help this amateur :)

Welcome! All the pictures are great, especially the dragonfly on the barbed wire. Keep posting pictures like that and it will be hard to convince anyone that you are an amateur!

Thank you Penny, that's very kind of you to say so. Because of sites like this and various books there are some great sources of knowledge and inspiration out there.
