I'm new here since 3 or 4 weeks ago so thought I should upload some pictures. I've done a bit of fiddling with cropping and a bit of colour popping with one of them. Hope they're ok and any criticisms, comments are appreciated to help this amateur :)

I like them all. Love the contrast.
I like your dragonfly on the barbed wire. We usually only see them on tree branches, flowers, etc. Very nice! I'm not one for flowers, but your flower picture is excellent, nonetheless.
Welcome to the forum, Scruffy, and thanks for sharing!

Great photo`s and welcome to UHH look forward to more from you.
Welcome. I really like your dragonfly!
Love the composition of your flower and love the treatment of photo #1. As mentioned, rare to see on barbed wire. Welcome, and I look forward to many more of your stunning results!
They are excellent! How did you get the dragon fly to be still :?: Last spring they were swarming all around me and do you think they would land :?: Not on your life  Anyway welcome aboard.

Wow, put my first set on UHH to shame! Great job!
Thanks everyone for the really kind words, they're appreciated. I tell you what Biker Chic it was a complete stroke of luck. I was at a nature reserve and just happened upon a section of barbed wire near to some mud pits/flats. For some reason the dragonfly's seemed to like the barbed wire and a few of them stayed still long enough for me to get a shot or two. I've never seen them on anything other than some sort of plant before so it was a bit of a treat. One important lesson I have learned is to always have my camera with me, no matter where I am.
Here was another one that wasn't spared the camera :)
Wowser on #4!!! What camera and lens?
Very nice! Welcome to UHH!
