Today I tried to photograph sparrows in an attempt to pull their natural beauty out (if they have any). I found the brown coloring of their feathers to be rather vivid. There was no enhancement in pp other than cropping.

Nice shots Tainkc! May I ask what lens you were using?

Thank you! Oh, and yes, I used a Sony 75-300mm lens.

Really nice. I am pretty tired of the sparrows I've been looking at...the browns are beautiful in your guys!

I love the various shades that you have captured - to me, all the sparrows have their own special beauty. Thanks.

Uncommonly good photos of a common bird, nicely done.

I especially like number three. The wonderful detail of the beak, getting the colors out as you wanted in the front part of the wing, which gradually recedes in focus. Great beauty, great detail, great feeling for life.

We have a flock of about 30or 40 sparrows feed regularly in our garden and I photograph then a lot. Your set is really good and quite natural in colour.
