How do you do an egg (anybody?)

The way I do it is in GIMP>Filters>Animation>Spinning Globe. If you use a square picture you get a globe. If you do a picture with one dimension longer than the other you get an egg. The computer has to do a lot of computations so it takes a while. I usually fill in the background corners in Corel X5 or Photoshop. Any further questions let me know.

Here's some new ones for today.

You know, I did make an egg probably the way you said (that was months ago)....and it came out strange. I'll have to go back & try it again. Thanx for answering!

This is the one I did months ago....I don't know how I got what's inside the egg...that was not the pic...I guess I fooled around with the sliders.
Then I tried another one...that one showed the original picture in the egg.

They don't all come out well. It is the same way with other edits--some pictures work and some don't and I don't have a magic formula to tell which ones will. Good Luck!

I just did this one. In the edit I kicked the frames up from 10 to 30 and got much better results.

Ohh this one came out soooo pretty!

Thank you for the compliments! I agree with you that it seems like an extended family; which I enjoy very much. It is an honor to be thought of that way and I appreciate it!

We had an excellent dinner. Zack is a wonderful 20 year old (his birthday is the 18th so we celebrated). His education in an international school in Yokohama and now a Sophomore at Tampa University gives him a broader view than most. He plays on the Varsity Soccer team as substitute goalie. So I guess you can see we are a little proud of him.

So hard to choose....but I think #1.

A photo taken late afternoon during the fall. Cranked through Gimp for a fractal layer, some other fun and games, then into Photoshop for some additional treatment. I probably couldn't repeat this to save my life.

I like both RMM but will stick with the original
