A little advice from an olde pro: crew call (you) comes before the cast call (the model) so that there is no setup nor waiting for the model. This is the realm of the flashmeter, as you can set your lighting without a model nor needing to shoot a shot. This way, it is all about creativity with the camera positioning and rapport with the model.
