Wow Tom!!!!! Very nice job! Have you tried the O-Flash for this yet? Someone said it works good for this too. But you did very good with that flash. Was that set to TTL? Or did you have to play with settings? And did you bounce it off anything? You got great skin tone also. I always get blown out areas if I don't bounce it off the ceiling. Next time Harrison is up I am going to play with the flash's. I think I have figured out the slave enough to try it.

Thanks, Erv. No, I did not use TTL. Nikonian said not to. Looks like he was right. I did have just a wee bit of natural light coming in but she was shadowed. She was about 6ft from the background and I was about 5ft. in front of her with the flash pointed right at her. I was using my 28mm prime. I used reduced power at F8 @ 1/100 sec. ISO 100.

No Fair... You cheat, Tom!
You started with a beautiful subject in order to distract us, thus lulling us into a sense of "perfection" and moving us to respond with "kudos, congratulations and lovely shot!" ;)

However, despite your treachery: "Kudos" "Congratulations" and... "Lovely shot!" :)

Great shot of a very pretty lady, but I do think it would have been a little better if she had been smileing....

Lol! Thanks, Tilde. I am trying to get better at this sort of photography. The problem being that I have to use free models. These "free". models don't sit or stand for very long though. So I have to be ready with my setup in 10 seconds or less. Worse than photographing a child.
