Possibly one of your most idiotic statements yet, Covid is an infectious disease. Trump mishandled Covid's entry in the US - failing to institute pandemic protocols that both the Bush and Obama administrations had put together. Remember his "One day it will just go away;" it hasn't. He held inside rallies that were spreaders and admitted later that he knew the disease was highly infectious. Estimates that I previously cited in this forum stated that 30,000+ individuals caught Covid from these rallies and at least 700 died. Look up the legal term "depraved indifference," you probably won't find it on Instagram.

Then you have Trump while he has Covid insisting that his Secret Service guys give him a ride - each one of them caught it.

How is it ONLY Trump gets blamed? How about Andrew Cuomo is never blamed, how about Fauci himself who kept switching ideas, one mask then two, then masks don't really work and all the while he was more than likely part of the group who started Covid to begin with. How about Governor Gretchen Wittmere? How about any number of people who gave wrong information because nobody had any idea of how to deal with a disease of this type. Sure there is more than enough blame to go around a few times and yet it is ONLY Trump who receives blame. WTF is that? Trump is the one who got the ball rolling on vaccines for America. Trump is the one person who wanted to limit who comes into America from other countries and was called a Racist for doing so. How many foreigners brought Covid right into America with them? How many illegal aliens crossed our border carrying Covid as well as numerous diseases America had not seen seen in decades. Not one illegal alien was asked about getting vaccinated and I think it was Mayorcas who said they were not screened. How stupid is that?

And the shut-downs were largely due to Covid's effect on workers and sales = people shopped online. The wife and I still do, easier than driving around. The UPS and FedEx drivers have our house memorized. The fast food and other restaurants also went to less human to human contact by going to electronic with kiosks and phone ahead, pickup at the door.
The kiosks couldn't catch Covid and when you drove up to pick up your app or phone order for a while the person who handed it out the window or came to your car in the pickup section of the parking lot looked like a CDC hazardous lab worker.
