Taken with a 600mm and 1.4. These guys were down for the morning! I had hoped they would get up and move, but such luck.

I neglected to mention in my comment that catching the big fella in a grove of frosty growth made for a gorgeous shot. Nicely done!
I was considering a drive to RMNP to try and get something similar but moose there reportedly don’t become available often until later.
