Very nice photo! The moose is just studying you to understand your next move and decide what to do. Run or attacking you. Mooses are unpredictable and some how dangerous. Never approach them too close.

I was considering a drive to RMNP to try and get something similar but moose there reportedly don’t become available often until later.


I don’t really know about RMNP especially in winter. I would have to see what roads are open. It was unusual to see these with their paddles this late in winter.
