Your
opinion (based on non-factual disinformation), is contrary to testimony from and by persons who were actually present — which YOU were NOT!
As well as sworn testimony from of the individuals directly involved with the case.

If you want to know why I said that, take it in context of what I was responding to.

Face it, folks, your US legal system is totally FUBAR.
How did CJ Rice get wrongfully imprisoned for 12 years… because “The jury viewed the EVIDENCE and the FACTS” at the time?
How does a Federal Appeals Court get to overrule the Supreme Court on SB 4?
How is it that Trump gets off every charge like a slippery eel when everyone knows he is absolutely guilty?
I could go on with a gazillion examples, but…
No other country in the world, be it a dictatorship, a modern democracy, or even Ancient Greece or Rome, has such a laughable litigious nature.

No Washtush, it's not. The problem is with the MAGA brain. It sees only what it wants to see, hears only what it wants to hear, and is smitten by the orange glow of a buffoon with advancing dementia.
Hope you guys wake up before election day. He plans to throw out the Constitution and become a dictator.
How do I know? Because he said so.
If the dictator is Trump he will be a benevolent dictator. Like Haile Selassie. Other countries will ask him to be their dictator too.

So you New Trump was “guilty” Even before any trials? You probably believe that he was guilty of colluding with Russia, too right?

I don't know what your legal system in the "great white north" entails but our legal system allows for due process as enumerated in the Fourteenth Amendment of our Constitution. Sometimes it works on behalf of defendants and sometimes not.

Of course it is better than many of the alternatives... and I was being a bit brutal.
But it is unfathomable that Trump gets away with what he does. NO ONE ELSE would have the velvet glove treatment he has had. The Supreme Court should have just jumped on the case(s) as a priority. Your country -- and democracy itself -- depend on it. You know that EVERY case involving Trump will eventually get there. It should ALL have been resolved well before November.

You can bet there's than one MAGA politician that wishes they'd have voted to convict the J6 mastermind's impeachment. They could prance about today and campaign as ... "The Grand Old Defenders of the Constitution Over Party!" But no ... they've buggered their party and the Constitution and their cult. MAGA's cluey hat trick!
BTW - Have you noticed they've mostly stopped parsing the difference between "convicted rapist" and the other kind. I miss those giddy legal experts.

Trump is using every legal means possible to stay out of jail and protect his assets. Who wouldn't? As you said, all will get there (to the courts). I disagree with your assessment of no one else would get the velvet glove treatment. There's a long history of politicians on the other side, if you will, who have enjoyed the same treatment. HRC immediately comes to mind. The Biden's are also on that list, but their issues (influence peddling, unlawful retention of classified documents, bribery, the border crisis) are working their way through the investigative stage, so it remains to be seen how all of that turns out.

You already have answers to the retained documents and influence peddling through his son have been answered. What bribery claims?
Only prospective case would be MAGA showing what crimes he's committed with border policies.

Most people unlawfully in possession of classified documents are charged and prosecuted for same. Biden got a pass. Hence my reference to velvet gloves. The influence peddling allegations are still under investigation. The bribery allegations have supposedly been debunked. It's not clear if they are still being investigated.

You're missing the "intent" portion of the possession of documents and the obstruction of justice elements, which makes all the difference in the Biden, Pence, Clinton and Trump cases.

Didn't POS Biden possess his classified documents for YEARS? Surely even to someone on the lying corrupt Left that would indicate his INTENT to keep those documents. Is it you can't see those facts OR you simply are not capable of looking at what your Left Wing does HONESTLY?
