I see an appropriate softness for the colors and slight mystery of an indistinct mountain in the distance. The simplicity of the composition lends itself to the softness, though some observers might be put off by poor technical quality.
If the intent is softness, I could see taking it a bit further towards "painterly" to limit the angst among excitable viewers

Or switch to mono, stick a moon in the sky plus a cemetary in the middle distance. Its well tested as a recipe for a "masterpiece".

The one the OP posted seems to show some oversharpening in the branches and the treeline which the one on Instagram doesn't show. The EXIF on the OP's photo has been wiped. I don't know if the EXIF on Instagram can be seen.

OP has not commented on anything in a year, just shared photos. I didn't really expect an answer, so I guess it was a rhetorical question. Rhetorical questions, I find, don't frustrate as much
