I may have posted this Sinatra joke. It was told by a comedian, but I'm not sure who, so I'm not going to guess.

"You know, Frank Sinatra once saved my life. I was getting a terrible beating by a group of thugs. I thought they were going to kill me. Then I heard Frank say, 'Okay, boys, that's enough.'"

In the late 90’s, visiting my brother in the Highlands in New Jersey, my brother said, “How did all these people get in my room?” He followed this with saying it was from his favorite Frank Sinatra cd. He then proceeded to play it and then gave it to us. It’s on the hard drive of our car. Not only do we play it regularly, whenever we hear Frank say, “How did,,,” I think about my brother who died about six months later. We too love Frank. We saw him perform in Milwaukee some time in the 80’s. He is on my list as one of the people I want to meet in Heaven. I plan to sing with him there. Why not? I sing with him now in the car all the time. And, today I sang “Fly me to the moon” with him.

I grew up near "The Highlands". I once auditioned with a small band at "The Log Cabin". We did not get the job. I was 15. Too young to be hanging around a bar. Wonderful area of NJ.

Ironically, I shot a cd cover for a Sinatra cover singer. Image taken in very low light, at a bar. Nikon d750, Nikon 24-70 2.8 nonVR, Nikon sb700 flash, Gary Fong Lightsphere modifier. Edit in Lightroom
