So sorry for the challenges you have and continue to face, and I look forward to seeing some great images from you.
It sounds to be a harrowing ordeal. Take your time to get back to where you need to be.
I wish you and you wife for a complete recovery. Most of all, we are here to lean on!
Welcome back, Al. Sorry to hear about the accident but happy that you are attacking life again. 😊
That is terrible. You sound like a very determined person with a great attitude. I wish you the best.
Wow, Al, just wow! That has been a tough road, for sure. Hang in there and welcome back.
Oh WOW that's a lot to recover from! Best wishes as you continue your recovery journey Al.
It's obvious you're not a quitter! You have an awesome attitude and it seems a very supportive wife.
I hope you enjoy your retirement home and find ways and places to continue your photography.
So sorry to hear what happened and what you have been through. However, it sounds like you are a fighter and are working hard at making a comeback. Stay strong and welcome back!
God's speed in your recovery. May I suggest tabletop macro photography? It's a great way to experience common things in new and wonderful ways and it can be done from the comfort of your home regardless of time of day or the weather.
So sorry to hear about your accident, Al, you are very lucky to have survived, thank God for that, welcome back.

Hello my photography friends. Its been a very long time since I have been here. A lot has happened in the past to years. My wife and I have built our retirement home in Tennessee. We wanted to do this two years ago but something happened that would test my resolve and physical being. June 17th of 2022 I was in a very bad accident. I was hit by a dump truck while working. The truck was doing 55 mph when it hit me. threw me over the guard rails and more than 50 feet. As you can guess I had some very bad injuries. I was in the hospital for four months and countless physical therapy. Just finished my last therapy session. I am mobile with a walker or a cane. I have learned patients and other ways to accomplish task. I am going to start my photography training after we get settled in our retirement home. I couldnt move my legs for a long time In the accident I broke my left hip my left pelvis my right knee tore my left achillies and internal injuries. Life has been very challenging but i am no quitter. It's been a big fight. Now I will try to get back into my life that i enjoy. Photography and my wood shop. there will be learning curves but I will achieve. stay tuned my friends. And please be safe out there there are careless people out there.
