I have been using a Logitech M510 for years and love it. Perhaps its because I have a small hand

Smaller and nicer to use.

I have the M325 as yours, it was fine for a few years, but now it starts acting up, it rolls the page up or down with out my turning the wheel. it may be the time to get a new one!

I ordered a new cordless mouse so I would have one less wire to deal with. Thinking it would be better because it had a higher model number and a higher price, I ordered the Logitech M705. I'm not thrilled with this. In standard form, the wheel spins freely, which means the cursor or page moves more than I want it to when I use the wheel. I discovered that pushing on the top button adds clicks to the wheel, but they are so faint that I wasn't sure they were there. I think I'm going to return this and get an M505, which I've used before.

If any of you use the M705, I be glad to hear your opinions.

I turned my mouse over to find I'm using a 705. Works for me...

This one is working, but I don't like the very weak clicks. I'm going to click on "Return" today.

I have an M705 and love it. The thumb buttons on the side are terrific for browsing back and forth between websites. The only issue I have with it is even when it is free-wheeling (no clicks) it will go too far up or down on a page. I wish the increments on the wheel position were smaller.

Check your settings. On my MAC I can adjust the rate at which the mouse responds to the wheel. On PCs, too?

Surely, one can also adjust in Windows.

It depends on the mouse and its driver. Some mouse offers no adjustment at all.

It sounds as though you folks are not setting mouse speed and controls to your liking. It really makes a difference.

I have the M510 which works fine, but if you go into Settings on your computer and then got to Devices and then Mouse, then click on Mouse on the Left column, it will bring up custom settings for your Mouse where you can adjust how many lines it scrolls, cursor size, and other custom options for the various buttons. Don't give up yet until you try those settings. ;-)

Thanks. I know about those adjustments, but I don't like the weak clicks on the scroll wheel.
