Help with this restore

I just visited with some friends I haven't seen in 30 years.
And this photo from the '70's surfaced. I've done a bit in PSE10, but don't know what else can be done. I'd like to remove that rust-colored tint and maybe sharpen a bit. Anyone willing to lend a hand?

I've found that if you have a crap pic, you'll always have one.

Still learning but hope this is a little better - such a bad exposure hard to get any real definition in faces - Have a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year :thumbup:

I used color strokes to desaturate and then it allows selective re-colouring. Played around with Aktiv Refocus plugin in PSE11 and used the sharpen tools in PSE11. Tend to work intuitively, bad habit I guess, so can't remember all of the steps in detail!!

Every attempt by the others have upgraded that pic in a certain way and I would have done essentially the same...the main broblem is the focus and a little blurr on that pic that can hardly be taken care off!

This is the best I could do. Don't think It can be madr to look like new.

How about if you take the B&W that Aranphoto did and colorize it. That seems to be about the sharpest.
