Some action images from the event at Terra Nova Equestrian Center. All shot with a 18-200mm Nikkor lens. You could get pretty close to the action so the 70-300mm was not needed. First time shooting an event like this so did not know what to expect. Their were competitors from 11 countries at this event which was held over 4 days. I only attended on Saturday. The female winner was from Cartersville Georgia and she was riding Trendy Fernhill. She won by 2/10's of a point over a rider from England.

Good shooting, Don. Getting good, sharp images in that environment is not easy.
Very nice pictures. Show jumping is a great sport and one I loved to shoot (although it wasn't what I did the most). Catching the horse AND rider in that perfect moment is no easy task. And I always was disappointed in the backgrounds, as they are frequently quite busy.
