I was in the Houston area for the hurricane ike restoration when I got a case of trouble on a phone line on Jap Rd.i knew I was in the right area cause of the cross connect box.even with GPS which was in it's infancy I couldn't find it so i asked a couple who was getting of their car.they told me I was on Jap Rd but someone complained that it was offensive so they changed the name about 10 years earlier.

It was "My honor is my loyalty".
I won't apologize, but will comment that it isn't even that interesting a quote.

Me too, it has made everyone overly sensitive. Person A makes a comment that offends person B, so person B says "I can't control my feelings. Person A has to control my feelings for me."

However, we can quote religious figures without danger, even though they have led to acts just as bad as anything Himler said. Such a confused world. And, no, I have no use for Nazis - past or present.

I have no use for Nazis or terrorists or a lot of other things either…but today's political correctness run amok is really nuts. Just because Hitler was a Nazi doesn't make everything he ever said evil and you're not evil just because of using one of his non offensive statements. I'm pretty sure that if you were to look at everything a person has ever said the likelihood of them *never* saying anything either objectionable by today's standards but not by the standards of the day or that somebody might get offended over…well, you would never be able to quote anybody…ever.
