Subjects not suited to my tools are irrelevant. In that sense gear both is and is not relevant. But when working with suitable subjects, the gear is irrelevant and invisible. Regardless of ones gear, there will always be suitable and unsuitable subjects. We cant all have a Webb telescope but thaz no excuse to shoot boring full frame full moons :-(

You copied my moon photos in the past with the same comment. My solo full moon is for my astronomy club to show the libration of the moon. Feel free to Google it.

Claim that generic moon as your own ! And defend your making of it !

Its just another boring moon. Doesnt matter in the least who shot it. Any moonshot serves equally for a bad example. Would you be fool enuf to actually prove its yours ?!? Go for it !

Ive added a few more moons below. Feel free to own those as well. Theyre all alike (exceot that I amused myself recoloring them).

I'd like to see some pictures of the other side of the moon from members in Australia. 🤣

Russia was first to see far side of the moon, and they got naming rights. Pink Floyd wrote a song about it

Russia (Soviet Union) was the first in most space achievements - except the Man on the Moon. Russian scientists came here to help NASA design a rover, based on the Russian design. They captured a lot of German rocket scientists after WW II, but we got Werner - the best one.

Still pushing that back story as if it mattered ? The image is what it is and remains unaffected by authors intent. Maybe every full frame full moon everywhere online is yours. They are all interchangeably boring.

Not as boring as you fighting with everyone, dead or alive, on UHH.
MY MOON SHOT was just fine for me.
You lifted that same pic from me with same argument months ago. I'm done with you.
Did you Google what I was doing, libration, or still fighting as always.
I loved op photo but by me there is an ocean and I haven't seen many trees growing out of it.

And sharpness is overrated. The most important of all tools in photography is the eye. If you don't have an eye for it, there's nothing can help. And it's pretty easy to see who does and who doesn't, don't you think?

You hit the nail on the head!
I have been a fairly serious photographer for over 65 years. I have taken many "nice" pictures, but never anything that would make a passer-by stop to admire.
My son, on the other hand, doesn't know an f-stop from an ISO value. He documents his travels with a cell phone. His results are artistically superb. His phone takes care of the technical stuff.

Some cell photos are excellent. I wonder what they would look like enlarged to my wall hanger size 16 x 20

Bebu I stand corrected. Neruto is a better photographer than many here.

And here's a Selfie taken by a feathered friend that I shamelessly took credit for...
I'm so ashamed of deceiving all you all :
