If this were the attic, I would comment about ‘real estate tycoons’ who ‘cook the books’.

Don’t lecture me about ‘real life’.

Congratulations, you hide it well.

Hm. Think my reply didn't go through. Anyway, have heard good things about selling through MPB, KEH, & UHH.
Thinking of selling my Nikon d5200 since I'm not using it much. Too many cameras. Will be considering the 3 options I have mentioned.

When I lived in Seattle for a while, I had friends with boats. Their statement was that the two happiest days in the life of a boater were the day he bought the boat and the day he sold the boat.

I can understand that. Had those two days of happiness many years ago. Selling may have been the happier day, :-)

They didn't allow posting of any additional accessories and offer about $350 for a mint condition Nikon Zfc body

If you don't understand the glut of digital camera equipment, such as this brand new Zfc contribution, you're bound to be very frustrated in trying to sell any used camera equipment, especially to an online reseller who operates as a for-profit business based on reselling your used equipment.

You need to try more than one reseller. Recently, I sent a list to Robert’s, expecting my Canon Elan {a film camera body} to receive the highest amount- their note had it at the bottom …….. they wouldn’t even consider it. On the other hand, KEH was willing to give me something - not much, but something. I figure Robert’s has too many Canon EOS film cameras, less so for KEH. If no one had been willing to give anything for it, I would have put in a back corner of my closet for a few more years.

I used to use MPB, but earlier this year I sent them a video camera. They then informed me that they would not complete the deal because they had quoted for the wrong item. When they returned my equipment, they failed to return the use manual and a spare microphone. When I contacted them, they demanded that I send them a copy of my driver's license and a recent bank statement before they would even agree to investigate. Only a fool would send that sort of confidential information to a company which had already proved that they cannot be trusted. Yes, many people here have had good luck with MPB, and so did I, until recently. Use them at your own risk but be aware of their hostile attitude when they screw up.
