Yep, they will be back. The reason I know that is because we are having the same problem Sylvia!

Don

I read that they don’t like the smell of vinegar and I sprayed it round the area and so far I haven’t seen the little blighter again! Will keep doing it, the birds don’t seem to mind.

Nice set. One rat probably means more. Act quickly

Thank you very much Jack for your comments, I haven’t seen it for a couple of days. I read they don’t like the smell of vinegar so I have been spraying it around where it was. It doesn’t bother the birds!

Nice series and a cute, although not appreciated, critter. Rats have to work for a living like all other creatures on this planet. Your kindness in catching and relocating it will bring you good karma.

We have a number of raised bird feeding stations around the rear garden and two on the ground near a laurel tree. The small birds and Blackbirds run out from under the tree and eat from the dishes then run back under.
We were sat outside having breakfast yesterday when I saw what I thought was a bird with ears. peeping out from under the tree.
I got the camera and when it came out I saw it was Mr/Mrs Ratty. It was very nervous at first but soon relaxed as you can see.

Just a fun set of shots, tomorrow if it is still around I will set the cat trap and relocate it.
