Oh my goodness! What devastation! That must have been heart-breaking for the locals. I was interested in the structures. The bottom portion is quite reminiscent of Mayan design.

Were you also there after the earthquake, or is that someone else’s photo?
The devastation for the Nepalese people is/was a terrible event. I’m glad they have the resilience to start over.
Is there significance to tourists on the roof? It seems to be an odd place to be.

The photo after the quake was from Google. We were not there then. I have no idea about the tourists on the roof. Perhaps they were practicing to be fiddlers.

More than heartbreaking Devastating, with great loss of life. And I agree now that you pointed it out, that bottom portion does almost see Mayan
