IF I understand you correctly there is a reason the Republicans use the term, "weaponization of the DOJ". Starting with Obama's Presidency, the DOJ was weaponized to spy on Trump, to go against Conservatives as in the case of Lois Lerner. Have you heard of her? Do you approve of her screwing over Conservatives? I do not. The FBI and DOJ went against Trump in the Russia Collusion investigation with only evidence supplied by Hillary's attorney to go on. The DOJ even today is accusing parents who do not agree with the Left Wing taking over the teaching of children, indoctrinating children, as Domestic Terrorists. Do you agree with that too? Would you want the STATE taking over the indoctrination of your children OR do you think, as a parent, it is your responsibility to bring up your children rather than the STATE as is done in Communist countries. So far America is NOT a Communist country where the STATE rules over We the People. We STILL have Freedoms to live in peace and to be in charge of the government rather than that government be in charge of us.

The ATF wants to ban bump stocks. Of course the ATF is not a law MAKING part of the government but has taken it upon itself to declare what is legal and what is illegal. That decision is not theirs to make but belongs to Congress.

Thank you for finally acknowledging that Hillary and Bill are corrupt. That's a start.
The opinion piece has a point, but it also seems to indicate that there is a double standard.

I would fully support the prosecution of Trump had those on the other side been treated the same. He should not be the presidential candidate, but neither should he be prosecuted for something that Hillary also did and got a pass on.

Trump must be a terrible judge of character. There is a lengthening parade of past appointees, attorneys, consultants, etc., who have turned against Trump. It is quite funny to watch him say glowing praises of these people when he appoints them, followed by the harshest insults when they resign after getting to know Trump.
