We're talking the reality of existing programs and not your personal gripes. You're confused per usual.

Quit whining and be a man instead of an obnoxious political hack!

Where in the Constitution does it say the government has an obligation to subsidize any business or pick and choose losers and winners based on political winds?

Are European nations embracing all electric vehicles and pushing like Joe Biden is jamming this down Americans' throats? What about NASCAR and Formula One? Can you imagine the soon to be run Indy 500 having to use electric vehicles? I recall the hub bub back in the day when the gas turbine showed up and nearly won the Indy 500 by a lot had it not been for a bearing failure???

Formula One will never have electric vehicles, the ruling body, FIA created Formula E almost a decade ago to cover that racing platform. Their next Grand Prix race is scheduled for Jakarta next month. The company I work for is actively involved it most all of the FIA auto-sport platforms.

Last I heard, NASCAR is also looking at an E-car series.

Do away with government subsidies and incentives and people mostly won't come near an EV.
Leave it to the open market and see how they do

Lets start with corn/ethanol subsidies..but there goes the midwest votes!! billions of dollars in subsidies that ultimately cost the consumer..

Joe Biden is jamming this down Americans' throats?
Americans buying E-Cars because of incentives and because it is the modern thing... same reason I purchased my Ford Mustang convertible in 1964.

Biden is pushing the installation of charging stations to remove the reason people are reluctant to buy an E Car. Tesla leads in the design of reliable stations that will charge any brand of E Car. The long run economy of owning an E Car is attractive and is getting better with improvements and price cuts.

Did Presidents Taft and Wilson shove gasoline powered Cars down peoples throats from 1910-1914 to get rid of horses and buggies? NO! Nor is Biden shoving E Cars down American throats.

What about NASCAR and Formula One? Can you imagine the soon to be run Indy 500 having to use electric vehicles?
Really Top Gun, is this a reason to make a law to ban E Cars? How many Americans drive in NASCAR and Formula One? Times Change. Can you imagine the quake when Ford introduced the V-8 ? Sport can set their rules. We all know that E Cars would win the Pikes Peak run.

Top Gun "don't stand in the door way" as warned Nobel Poet laureate Bob Dylan who sang about... "Times Are a Changin' "

You didn't mention that about half of our electric power comes from coal and natural gas. That's how Biden's charging stations will be powered.

Meanwhile Biden, via the EPA, has ordered all natural gas- and coal-fueled power plants to reduce emissions by 90% between 2035 and 2040, or be closed down. (Again the Executive acting as Legislature.)
What will be the new source of electricity to power all of the EVs that Biden and his controllers envision we will have by that time?

I'm sure solar and wind will be powering EVs! Another PLAN that was not fully thought through before launch.

Read past the headlines and you will see that .

It will only be struck down in court if someone can bribe Justice Thomas.
Oh wait. That's right, they already have.

California has passed a law banning sales of all diesel big rigs by 2036. California is coming to a state near you, Newsom 2024!

MAYbe manufacturers will use this timetable to make quieter, efficient, less polluting vehicles.
It wasn't that long ago that "forced" diesels to install devices to cut pollution. Remember? Still gots trucks!
We keep hearing of groundwater pollution from leaking gas stations.
We just had another ahole try to cut off a tanker on the freeway. Ka Booom!!
Wouldn't be nice for Americans to have a nice quiet reliable commuter vehicle that you just plug in at night?
I remember blowby tubes aimed at the ground, black grease strips in the middle of the lanes.
I remember that living in LA,CA was like smoking over a pack a day.
I remember the sky turning from blue and clear to yellow to brown throughout the day.
Is ths the "good 'ol days" you want to go back to? Bubba?

Kaboom you say. We have had a half dozen of these E cars go up in flames in my area this year. https://youtu.be/VykGDZIIqLw

Instead of you-tube, a little research might be enlightening.

Local news, is that CO2 I see coming from that Tesla? Get a clue, just referring to his Kaboom! Illustration. By the way my son has a type3 dual motor, nice car.

Not all bother to click on a tube link as anything authoritative, particularly when negativity is implied. Unfortunately it prevented me from "getting a clue."
