"x or chi in Greek looks like a cross!. I doubt that you will find any pastor, priest reverend or minister that wishes his or her congregation a merry Xmas.:
You probably are right but just look at her/his sermon notes and you will probably see it.

Obviously we do not share the same vision for reaching out to the unsaved. So lets just drop the discussion. I think we are both too stubborn to see the other's point of view.

I have no problem reaching out to the unsaved, having once been one myself. I just find the x'ing out of Christ to be extremly offensivse and disrespectfull. You do not have to be Billy Grahm to identify just who it is behind all the xmas nonsense, the prince of this world and chief troublemaker the prince of darkness.

thank you. No other holiday gets treated with so much contempt by the world. do we avoid happy fourth of july so not to offend the Brits? And why do we celebrat cinco de mayo anyway? Its not an american holiday.

to those of us who take our relationship with the Lord Jesus seriously the use of xmas instead of CHRISTmas is as offensive a word as is the use of the n word!

Quite a few of the people in this country have no idea of how they are perceived by the rest of the world. They do not care that the rest of the of the world considers them a bit off mentally. These Real American folks wave their flags and wear their faith on their sleeves and nobody better interfere or even hint at interfering with them. In the U.S. Jesus is coming back and packing firearms. I hope you have a Happy Christmas. What will you be having for Christmas lunch at your place?
