Well, I won't be able to do any photography for a while. I had surgery yesterday for carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger on my right hand. I can't lift or hold anything over 2 lbs. for 6 weeks with this hand. Most of my cameras with lenses are over that weight.
The fun thing is I will be having this surgery on my left hand soon.
So I won't be having many photos on here for a while unless it they are some of my older captures.
I do have some I took recently before the surgery that I have to PP and will put them up as soon as I am able.
will
Hope you have speedy recovery
Best to you.
I have had carpal tunnel syndrome surgery and trigger finger surgery on both hands (one at a time of course) due in large part to my long photojournalism career and decades of computer use .
If you had good doctors and I assume you did, you will be fine after your recovery, and will back to your photographing.
Years later, sometimes I get some pain in one hand, but that is tolerable and nothing like what you know we go through when it was debilitating.
Hang in there. I know your pain and your journey.
Cheers and best to you.

Sorry to hear it but best to get it rectified. Meanwhile you'll just have to use your cell phone to take pictures. LOL, I hope.
Wishing you a full and speedy recovery Will. Get out there shooting again when you are able.

Thank you. I appreciate your thoughts and encouragement.
I was an appliance tech for a big part of my working days. I think that had a lot to contribute to it.

Take care and do the rehab, Will!
Get better quickly. You'll go into withdrawal at some point.
