Well, I won't be able to do any photography for a while. I had surgery yesterday for carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger on my right hand. I can't lift or hold anything over 2 lbs. for 6 weeks with this hand. Most of my cameras with lenses are over that weight.
The fun thing is I will be having this surgery on my left hand soon.
So I won't be having many photos on here for a while unless it they are some of my older captures.
I do have some I took recently before the surgery that I have to PP and will put them up as soon as I am able.

Wow, I have had C/T on both hands the left was in the 90's and the right a little over a year ago I returned to work 4 days after my first, since it was my left hand it was no problem (truck mechanic) the right hand I was back at most things in two weeks, I didn't have to layoff my photography since I use a tripod for 99% of my work. I was 81yrs old at the last surgery. Now it did take a month or so for me to get my full strength back.
I shoot a D810 with a 200mm macro.
Hopefully your recovery will be fast!!

Your cell phone is under 2# and they take great shots with the cameras they are equipped with now. Don't sotp taking shots -- you'll get rusty and maybe miss some good opportunities! Get better soon and good luck with your surgeries. I had my left hand done a couple of years ago.

Recover soon. I had the surgery in the early 90’s and never had another problem. My doctor thought both hands would need the surgery but miraculously when I left my desk work the left hand was fine. I still have stitches pop up now and then & the scar is still visible. But No Pain! It will all be over soon. Good luck.
