I would like to visit B&H. Can someone tell me how you arranged it?
Thanks.
Have you tried calling or emailing B&H? That is where I would start.

It is a store. You walk in the front door!

If you live anywhere near 34th & 9th ave. in NYC, it is right on the corner. The Penn Station is nearby. It is a once in a lifetime experience.

Be sure to check hours and that they are open when you plan to go, they are owned by Hasidic Jews and are closed on all Jewish Holidays.

They're also closed before sundown on Friday and all day Saturday.
The place is amazing!
Bring your check book, charge cards, and first born. You will feel like a kid in a candy store!
You're brave! I couldn't trust myself amongst all that good stuff!!!

Private message "henryp" here. He's at B&H.
It's an amazing store! The employees are very knowledgeable about everything they sell. Every trip to NY is not complete without a stop there. My motto is: If B&H doesn't have it, you don't need it! I have yet to need something they did not have.
Just go there when they are open! Large store that takes up an entire block.

It's a big retail store on 9th Ave in Manhattan - just walk in - you'll love it! Just be aware the store is closed on Saturdays, Fridays early in the winter time, and any Jewish or major US holidays. Best to check their website under store hours or call them to be sure.
The place is amazing. They have a very efficient conveyor rack system overhead for getting purchased items to the cashier area. I was just there last Sunday. One disappointment though -
I wanted to take a look at some Fuji cameras, but they keep them BEHIND the counter, so you have to ask a sales guy to bring you a demo model. All the other major brand demo cameras Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Lumix, Ricoh/Pentax, etc. are freely accessible on small islands in the photo section. I was in a bit of a hurry and did not feel like chatting with a sales guy, although I must say their sales people are NOT pushy at all. They will let you try it out all you want and will not push anything on you.
Yes, walking into B&H can be hazardous to your credit card or bank account balance, especially if you have GAS. :))))

I walked into the store when it opened, just like any other store.
