They've kept me a very satisfied customer (as usual) again. I ordered a Canon R6 II from B&H Tuesday evening and 11:00am the next morning the Fedex driver handed me my new camera. By using Payboo I saved the sales tax ($158.69). Why shop anywhere else?

Congrats on your new camera. Just be sure to pay off the balance by due date. Otherwise what you saved on the tax will be eaten up on interest payments.

They are indeed good! They helped my bride shock me with putting a new camera under the tree that I didn't even know I wanted.

If I were to buy a Canon R6ii I would simply drive to Competitive Camera which is 32 min. away and pick one up. Price is the same as B&H (I do have to pay the tax) and I can get it the same day. Support my local business too.

It used to be that B&H did not charge sales tax outside of New York. I live in a high sales tax state because there is no income tax. Basically it saved me almost 10% on everything.

As internet sales grew (even soared) the federal government passed laws to support states making ALL internet retailers charge and deliver the local tax money.

B&H responded with a credit card offering that is oddly called "PayBoo". When you use it at B&H, they give you a credit equal to your sales tax. In other words, they pay the sales tax instead of you!

You are fortunate. Where I live I have to drive two hours through the center of of Seattle's worst traffic to get to Kenmore Camera. Then I have to drive back. There are no other local choices. A long time ago, in the film days, Tacoma had a good store. Not now.

You think you’ve got it bad? My nearest store is also Seattle. I usually go to Glazers. From my house to Seattle is 938 miles and there is no road. (Well, the Alaska highway but that’s 1864 miles and you still have to take a ferry and go through Canada) I try to make a quick stop when I pass through Seattle but BH gets most of my online orders.

I ordered my R5 from B&H and was surprised when it arrived two days later. I've always been happy with B&H. No local camera stores close to where I live.

Two day delivery is awesome. I get that with Amazon, "usually".

Don't know why, but I've never been to Glazers. Maybe it is because I hate and avoid the Seattle core. I grew up there and loved the old version.

I drove that road last summer with my "old" camera. By the time we got there and back with some touring, it was about 6000 miles. Now that I have a new camera from B&H, maybe I should go again!

Lucky you! On a side note, I just visited your photo web site. I love the shots of the antique cars minus the wheels, very cool!
