I have been using an RF 24-70 and an RF 70-200 on my full frame R6 with no problems. I just ordered an R7 which is not a full frame. My question is : will those 2 lenses work OK on the R7 ?
Thanks for helping me out.

I use both on my R7 and they work fine. You will need an adapter (3 different styles)

No adapter needed. Those are RF lenses that the OP has, not EF.

My apologies... I thought EF rather than RF.

Of course they will work fine on the R7.... It uses the exact same RF mount as your R6.

The angle of view rendered by those lenses will be narrower though, on the camera with the smaller sensor.

The 24-70mm on R7 will "act like a 38-112mm lens" would on your R6.

And the 70-200mm will "act like a 112-320mm lens" would on your R6.

You might miss having a wide angle. If so, there are the Canon RF 16mm, RF 14-30mm, RF 15-35mm or you could instead adapt a Canon EF-S 10-18mm, EF-S 10-22mm or EF 16-35mm (f/4 or f/2.8 III). Or, just wait... ventually Canon will probably eventually offer something like an RF-S 10-22mm.

No, you don't. RF lenses cannot be fitted to EF mount cameras.

And, no, an adapter is not needed. RF lenses are made for RF-mount cameras.
