Cream Wagon - you choose and why...
Ken put it very well. I like them both for different reason. Bev
Both are great. Each tells a little different story. I am a fan if black and white.

Like the color better. The B&W is a bit flat for me. But both are fine images.
I'd go with the color ... just because there is some vibrant color still there. If the wagon was a little more weathered, then I think a B & W would be more appropriate.
My only other suggestion would be to back up just a bit to give it just a little more breathing room. Of course, that's just my opinion.

You never know what you might come across on the side of the road in Montana. This old dairy wagon was just sitting there soaking up some of the sun waiting for someone to come by and pay a little attention. I felt that the color rendition was true to life as to what it looks like now and the black-and-white was more of an old-school "back in time" rendering. I like both of them and I'd like to hear from you as to which one you prefer and why. Also, any constructive criticism or suggestions are greatly encouraged.

Both....
The B&W looks like an old time print of an old time wagon.
The color is of an old time wagon.
(I have this choice problem a lot between B&W and color.....)
I agree. The color does give a more accurate depiction of the degradation of the wagon. The B&W is more nostalgic.
Although I am a big fan of monochrome, the color works better here because it is vibrant, while the mono version looks flat as it is posted here. I believe the mono could be made into a better version.

The colored one. The black and white version just looks dull and flat
The green color in the first image adds nothing to the image IMHO. It could be blue, orange, etc. It is an old time wagon and thus deserves an old time rendering. Therefore the B&W image gets my vote.

I really do like them both...same as Ken...for different reasons, the b&w makes it look like a very old photo and I really like that and the color one just makes the wagon pop and shows the weathered look.
Color. The wagon pops more. B&W is a bit flat to me, but if it jumped out more I might change my mind.

I like them both, but "aged" subjects often look more interesting in B&W or sepia
