Cream Wagon - you choose and why...
You never know what you might come across on the side of the road in Montana. This old dairy wagon was just sitting there soaking up some of the sun waiting for someone to come by and pay a little attention. I felt that the color rendition was true to life as to what it looks like now and the black-and-white was more of an old-school "back in time" rendering. I like both of them and I'd like to hear from you as to which one you prefer and why. Also, any constructive criticism or suggestions are greatly encouraged.

Nice either way but I like the B&W just a little better!!

They both have merit. I don't see any reason to choose. They are completely different renderings with their own pluses and minuses. I like them both equally for different reasons.
I agree with Ken. Often B&W and color shots of the same subject create different totally unrelated pictures. If I had to pick one to hang on my wall it would be the B&W because it tells a story while the color one documents an encounter

I have to agree with Ken.
Both....
The B&W looks like an old time print of an old time wagon.
The color is of an old time wagon.
(I have this choice problem a lot between B&W and color.....)
I like the color better. If you image in color you can print in B&W or sepia, or painterly and also be accurate in your representation of color in the time frame in which the subject existed in its daily guise… so I choose the one that leaves me with… choices.

WOW Tommy hard to pick. I'm leaning towards the B&W
The color images shows us what the ravages of time has done. The black and white emphasizes lines and shapes and is an equally compelling image. I love them both and would hang them both in one frame so the viewer can compare and enjoy each for its own merit.
Thanks for allowing us to share your vision.
The color is my preference. The wagon is apparently recently used, not dilapidated. Screens are intact, wheel rims not rusted. Aged but still has some life.
Nice find, thanks.
I like the color version. For me the contrast between the blue wagon and the red wheels adds to the interest.
I also agree with Ken. There is no reason to choose, but keep them both.
