Microsoft Edge just froze my computer - twice - and wasted a lot of my time. It decided to install a new version of itself, and that froze the computer. When I finally got Task Manager working, it showed 99% memory and 95% CPU usage. I had to wait while it sorted itself out. I lost all the tabs I had at the top of the screen for quick reference. I'm going to put them in the Bookmarks Bar now.

When Edge started, it presented itself as brand new, showing me all its features. Then it froze. After restarting the machine, it froze again. I'm back to Chrome.

When other browsers come out, and are reputed to be the latest, greatest thing, I have tried them, but nothing is as good as Edge. I have been using Edge for some time, and NEVER have had the slightest problem - or with Windows 10, either!!! I always keep everything updated! I have no idea why so many are badmouthing Microsoft products!!!

I watch several people on YouTube who deal with computers all the time. If several of them agree on a topic, I accept what they say. I have come across some camera, computer, and woodworking people who seem to be idiots.

I have found most people on YouTube really like to hear themselves blabber and very few to be really helpful.
The Videos that I find most helpful are short and sweet no inane blabbering.

Brave is the bomb! Like Edge and Chrome, it is based on the open source Chromium browser, so they all have a lot in common. Brave is the one that isn't owned by a tech giant who watches over your shoulder, so more private and secure. Brave

For me, the Chromium Edge operates better… but it is updated about ever hour… and the updates all seem want to sell you something either from or thru Microsoft.

For Wondoze in general… My Win 10 machines update so often it is ridiculous. My, 1, Win 11 laptop updates at a more reasonable rate. That may be reason to change the Win10 PCs to Win 11, except they are not capable.
