it amazes me that our politicians think that buying dirty oil overseas, refining it and transporting it here by carbon-emitting ships, train tank cars and tanker trucks, is better for the environment than drilling in North America and transporting it via pipeline. Real geniuses and scammers at the helm.

Your pic is a lithium mine in Manitoba, Canada. There are many similar type mines around the world for a number of different resources coveted by many...left and right.

At some point, we will deplete resources and it will become too expensive to own any type of personal transportation that doesn't involve working up a sweat. Invest in public transportation now, or deal with the ensuing chaos later.

Until public transportation satisfies needs for pickup and delivery to destinations on demand, it will always struggle.

Darn it!!! You know the lying Left just hates it when Common Sense is brought into the conversation.

When will that be, MAYBE 100 years from now? Is there some reason America cannot just the ample resources we have right up until that time comes? Even I think there will come a day when humans will find SOMETHING that will replace fossil fuels that we have right now. But up until that time why are we wasting our time on battery operated vehicles that at any time can catch fire, a fire that is extremely difficult to even put out? Why are we wasting time on solar and wind when they either do not do much good OR are harmful to the environment? Natural gas and petroleum are plentiful right under our feet and yet one political party has decided for the rest of us that those natural substances are not good for America; so have decided they won't be used anymore. Did someone mention the word, DICTATOR?
