I was getting multiple emails continually from McAfee stating my subscription expired. I have never had a subscription and always deleted the emails without opening. And then one day my credit card showed a $130 charge from them. I do not know how they did that. I immediately called the credit card company and protested. They removed it. Then I started getting them from Nortons. Which I also delete without opening. Keep an eye on your credit card charges.

In the past two weeks I have received ten emails supposedly from Norton titled "Security Alert" telling me my computer is in danger and my subscription needs to be renewed.

During the same time I have received nine emails from McAfee that is my final notice and that my account needs to be renewed.

However, I don't use either service, never have used McAfee and haven't used Norton in the past ten years.

Not only do the "From" addresses look suspicious, the "To" addresses are not either my name or email address, but a long series of letters and numbers.

The two I opened to check the above offered really "good deals" and all I had to do is "click" on the "links". Yeh, right!!!

Just thought I would mention a different, and continuing approach. Best be careful.

I get these all the time, just delete them! When you get emails with titles that you know are scams it not a good idea to even open them to read them, this can trigger bigger trouble for your computer sometimes.

Definitely scams. I get them too. Obviously, you should never click on a link in a message like that but do click on the sender’s email. You’ll see gobbledygook as mentioned above.

Before deleting, you should mark those messages as spam or phishing.

I get the same two emails almost on a daily basis. I forward the Norton emails to: spam@nortonlifelock.com

Getting worse not better. I spend way too much time examining each email before opening it is ridiculious.

Any political add gets Deleted recently. Any thing saying I won this or that gets deleted. "I wone a Webber Grill from Ace Hardware "NOT" etc.

Typical never ending spam emails.
My email account has seen enough of these that they automatically get sent to my junk folder.
So, I don't see them except when skimming the junk folder for anything that shouldn't have been sent there.
Then, when the folder done being checked, it is emptied.

I have been getting them too. I contacted both companies and they weren't interested in seeing the spam. Just keep deleting.....

These e-mails are SCAMS. NEVER reply to an e-mail. If you have Norton or McAffe log into your account and view the the status there or call the company.

Don’t forget to apply for the Home Depo $500.00 free gift card, also Sam’s club has a gift for you. Best-Buy wants to thank you for your resent visit with free iPhone 13, I have not been in their stores for the past 4 years. And all of this while your computer is been corrupted. Are those scammers get paid hourly to put those stupid messages in our computers? Facebook has become scammers heaven, and it’s too bad because it was a source to communicate with your friends and family.

I get those that claim to be from McAfee every day, plus some that say my order is being sent. (I didn't order anything.) They want you to open them. I just delete them. They never give up.

They are total scams. I get them all the time from both telling me that my coverage ends tomorrow which is pretty good when you consider the fact that I have never had either of them.
