Thanks everyone for commenting! These falcons are uncommon for my area, but they have been known to be here only during breeding season. So I am hoping that they will be leaving soon and the song birds will come back. After listening to these guys call for a few months....it's starting to get a little annoying...lol. If you have never heard one...google it.

Merlins are falcons, but no need to say Merlin Falcon. Just Merlin does the trick. Ask them, lol.

https://ebird.org/species/merlinThanks! And no snack...it really liked that branch and would sit there a lot calling for it's mate. The Merlin app that I use to identify birds comes back as stating "Merlin Falcon".
