Thanks everyone for commenting! These falcons are uncommon for my area, but they have been known to be here only during breeding season. So I am hoping that they will be leaving soon and the song birds will come back. After listening to these guys call for a few months....it's starting to get a little annoying...lol. If you have never heard one...google it.

Fantastic captures! Is that a lizard snack in the first photo?

Merlins are falcons, but no need to say Merlin Falcon. Just Merlin does the trick. Ask them, lol.

Thanks! And no snack...it really liked that branch and would sit there a lot calling for it's mate. The Merlin app that I use to identify birds comes back as stating "Merlin Falcon".
