If you plan to cross the Lubec Narrows to Campobello Island check the requirements first, covid has added complications to visiting Canada, special form to fill out about 3 days prior to your visit, we opted to not cross as the Roosevelt house was closed during time in Lubec.

There's a ranger booth beside the town common in bar harbor. Right by the place to get the bus into the park. We bought our passes there. No entry booth, but a ranger might ask you to show it.

Thanks! I saw that in the satellite view and was wondering. The road view doesn't show the hut.
We always drive right by the park on the way to MDI up US-1.

It’s relatively low key. The rangers were always pleasant when we went.

Also, there is the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennybunkport, Maine. Fun time if you like old trolleys, and seeing them being restored.
