Police did not kill George. George killed George. Fentanyl killed George it is the number one killer of adults between 18 and 45. Proof there were large amounts in his body was in the coroner report. When they pulled him over he was afraid to be found with the drug so he probally ingested it. He knew he was going to die, if you listened to the video, he was calling out to mama and to Resse saying he loved them because he knew he was going to die because of OD, not because the police were handling him. He was saying he could not breath before they put him into the car. According to the CDC "Fentanyl can produce delayed reduced respiratory function (respiratory depression) and respiratory arrest."

I know some people that did two tests for 8 minutes. One where one put a knee on the neck and back where the person could lift his head of the ground which George could do.
Then they did another 8 minute test where the person could not lift his face off the ground. They did not pass out or die.

Police do this all the time to criminals to subdue them since they are no longer allowed to use billy clubs to break their legs.

George killed himself. He overdosed on drugs, he resisted arrest which normal people, non criminal, non drug induced delirium people do not do. The police on several occasions loosened up on him then he would try to escape. They put him in the car with handcuffs and he fought 2 police officers to get back out of the car. He had super strength like he was on drug (because he was) so they did the right thing.

Could police monitor him better? I watched the video, he was still breathing when he quit talking and passed out.

Life lesson. Don't take Fentanyl. Don't overdoes Fentanyl. Don't take drugs and drive around in a car where police could pull you over. If you OD on drugs, do it in the comfort of your house so police don't try to arrest you. Don't pass counterfeit bills. Don't resist arrest. When police put you in the cop car, don't fight your way out.

It's sad when someone commits suicide, especially when he does it so publicly that the blame falls on the innocent. (Yes, I'm being sarcastic. )

LoL

Guess we should just accept things you've heard over the judgment of the jury which actually heard and saw all the evidence.

You've probably got the right picture!

Yep, the jury gets it wrong more often than we like to admit.

You have a brain, watch the video yourself and draw your own conclusion from the cops cam. Jury's can be bought, jurys can come to the wrong conclusion, sometimes the decision is racially or politically motivated. Sometimes evidence is withheld from them.

Just me but I think the part of their oath swearing to uphold the “public trust” would cover that

I was on a jury. The DA did not have a case against a man who was accused by the a bank for stealing a mans credit card then using it. The man could not get the gas pump to work with his card. The suspect offered to help the man and got the card to work. The man handed the guy his credit card to the suspect but could not remember if he got the card back, or if he dropped it in his truck or in front of the pump. He was only a witness and did not prosecute. The card was used at a near by mall.

The law stated clearly you had to prove the person used the card for fraud. There were no witnesses. We asked for his criminal record (which I did not know the jury could ask questions and get answers or evidence if ok by the judge). The judge would not allow us to see it. We found him not guilty.

I asked the DA how they could bring him to court with no case. He said the witness that saw him use the card (the person that worked at the store and verified it was him by picture) was out of the country at the last minute. The guy had a criminal history of theft, burglary, and a laundry list of other crimes and probably stole it.

So the system is not perfect. O.J Simpson got off scott free, so did Rodney King Jr.

"Public trust" means nothing. Ask a hundred people, and you'll get a hundred different definitions. The way the law is written is all that matters.

There's a local politician campaigning on the idea that parents should be allowed to be "more involved in their kids' education." That's a meaningless expression.

Again I say it was the Custodian's [janitor] fault, he could not find the correct key to let the police into the room.

Once the door was opened with the key, it was politically advantageous to kill the shooter. If he had lived and gone to trial, then the shooting would be in the news for a year or more. By killing the shooter, "Dead Men Tell No Tales" and so the unfortunate incident will be forgotten in a month and the second amendment will prevail.

One key should open everything. Years ago, I had several English cars, and they all used the same type of ignition switch. I took the switches apart and modified them so that one key would work all the cars.

Related - When I was a kid, my parents had a 1958 Olds. My friend's parents also had a '58 Olds, and the same key worked on both cars. I was walking along a sidewalk, and I saw a GM key on the ground. I picked it up and brought it home. That key fit both of the Olds. I guess that's one way to save money: don't make so many different keys.

When the threat of imminent death is but seconds away the 911 response will arrive within a few minutes. Call time out with the criminal, like on the playground in 4th grade, and wait patiently for 911 help to arrive.

Or lie there dead because you are a FOOL on the left who chooses not to be capable of protecting yourself and your loved ones. Bluntly, fine, be dead, who cares, but don't think you have the right to require the same of others.

While you are at it throw away any fire extinguishers and first aid kits you have in your home. Wouldn't want to do anything for yourself when you could wait on 911 to arrive.

I know the area of the Floyd event. You don't leave a crime area of Texas to straighten out your life and move into a crime area of Minneapolis to improve your life. You don't ride around with two drug pushers thinking these people will help you stay straight. You don't try to pass counterfeit money. In my opinion Floyd died from Fentanyl usage while being restrained by police not by how the police restrained him. That method of restraint has appeared on the show "Adam 12" several times. "Adam 12" was considered correct police procedure at that time and the show producers used cops to tell them how to script the scenes. The four cops needed a fair trial. A trial without political influence affecting the outcome.
