A few years ago we experienced a wide spread power outage that lasted about 12 hours during a heat wave in the middle of summer. I was told that the power outage was caused by someone shooting at a groundhog and hit hitting a power transformer. I always wondered how that could happen. Now I know. They climb trees!

I’ve seen plenty on the ground, especially in soybean fields, but never one in a tree.
