Love it!!!!!!! Now send a few thousand to Delaware, Connecticut, and Australia.
I totally agree with your sentiment here, but I think the money for this would be better spent on completing the damn WALL.

This was a good move by governor Abbott. The problem is all these folks are going to end up under a bridge in DC, Maryland or Virginia because they don't have any place else to live.
Where are the immigration hearings that they are waiting for going to be? I would suggest it is Wash. DC. So bus 'em there to wait.

I don't understand your logic. Would it be any different if they were taken to Boise Idaho or Hoboken New Jersey? Wouldn't they still end up under a bridge or does that only happen if they are taken to DC? If so, why?

Of course not. They are going to end up under a bridge wherever they are bussed to. It was a good move to make a point, but I seriously doubt it got Biden's attention. I think an equally good point could have been made if they had been bussed to Rehoboth Beach, DE and dropped off in front of Biden's Beach house. It would have been especially good if if was there!!
Maybe the next bus load will take them back across the border.

I hear DeSantis plans on a few bus loads going to Delaware. Meanwhile......

In our area (seasonal agriculture with a lot of corporate farms) we have a private program for foreign nationals that want to work in our country. The program was put together by the the farmers and churches from several different counties. The program benefits everyone. The farmers get the summer help they need and the hired workers get a contract that provides them with airfare paid both directions, inspected housing while they were in country, free childcare if needed, health benefits and best of all for the workers - if they want- they can take night courses to study for citizenship.
I toured one of the facilities (an apple and fruit orchard) and was amazed. It was like campus life. The rooms slept two with a private bath and small kitchen along with a sitting area. Many of the men that brought their families with them rented apartments in a local town. If their wives worked in the packing facility they were provided with free child care. The church members oversee the program and it's a place for the workers to take their complaints.
The farm I toured employed about fifty people eight months a year and five or six of them were here year round. The few that had achieved citizenship had moved on.
The program was offered as a prototype to the state (Pennsylvania) but nobody was interested.
A national program like this wouldn't cure all our ills but it certainly could be a start.

I'm surprised no one picked up on wanted to try the prototype program you mentioned.

So a texas republican governor doesn’t know how to deal with a priblem in his state, so he literally puts it on a bus and sends it somewhere else. Isn't this pretty close to the definition of passing the buck?

Certainly is passing the buck - just like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris passed the buck to Abbott. They"passed over two million bucks" when the Feds dropped the illegals off in the middle of the night in Westchester NY or Boise Idaho. At least Abbott had the decency to tell Joe they were coming. Joe does it in the cover of the night without so much as a whisper to the Governors or mayors.

Closer to passing the buck back to where it belongs...

Mikkie does not understand that the border belongs to the Nation, not Texas. Our border states are getting pooped upon by the current Admin. which is supposed enforce the border, the border is a National Problem not a Texas or Arizona problem alone.

Umm...Boise is a "welcoming city" and they weren't dumped at airports, like Abbot did on the streets of DC.
I've landed places at night, and it wasn't "under cover of darkness" so you might be making something out of nothing there. Maybe flights were cheaper; maybe airport landing fees are cheaper, maybe the planes were available then, who knows? You don't seem to.
The imigrants were being processed; and why do mayors and governors need to know that? Do i need to alert a mayor or governor if i move? Nope.
