I ordered my item on a Wed evening and got a email from them on Thurs Saying it would be shipped and received it on the following Friday.

If you have a MPB account you should easily be able to see the status of your order

Fwiw the last time I email them about a item I sent the email On Tue, Nov 2, 2021 at 12:36 AM, and receive a reply from them On Tue, Nov 2, 2021 at 1:50 PM

I wish you the best with your camera and batteries from them.

Hi Hoggers,

I wondered if anyone has had issues with buying from MPB.com? I ordered over $200 of accessories and am getting the runaround. I ordered, received confirmation, then started getting emails asking me to contact them about the order. I have called (their phone system is inoperable) and sent multiple emails with no response. I have not even been successful in cancelling the order due to the fact that they do not respond. Pretty frustrating and wondered if this is standard for this company? Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them again.

I have bought from them several times (as well as have sold them) and never had a single problem.

MPB has been a pleasure to buy and sell with many times over the past few years. I am currently trading and purchasing with them and have experienced similar communication issues with them as others here have in the past week. It appears that there is currently a lack of oversight of the communication process by their employees and possibly they are operating with a reduced work force. Their telephone system is working but they appear to simply not be using it. After about four email inquiries they did get my initial process started and the communication was friendly. I anticipate all will end well as in the past. Unless something else happens I will continue to do business with them. I like Roberts Used Camera very much also. Good luck to both of us.

I've bought several lenses and a couple bodies from them, never an issue, quick delivery, all items still work fine. Good luck with your efforts....give them a bit of time, everything is slower now.

A quick recap from me. I ordered a body and a couple accessories from MPB on Feb 24, and received and email confirming my order. They said they would send another email when it goes out. A week later, still no email. So I got in touch with them through email, Amelia apologized and said she would look into it. 6 hrs later I received another email saying it had been packed up and was awaiting Fed Ex. The Fed Ex website showed that to to be true. I'm not happy about the week delay, but pleased that they acted quickly when the problem was brought to their attention.

I ordered a lens on Wednesday March 2nd.
My account shows the order status as ready for picking on March 3. Today March 4th I received an email stating due to an increase in order volume, shipping has been delayed and that my order is being prioritized for shipment. Cannot complain so far. Ordered from them multiple times and very satisfied with service thus far.

I bought three lenses from them, all of which were returned because of mechanical problems. The latest purchase was plagued with problems from the beginning.
First, they sent the wrong lens.
I emailed the New York office...maybe... and got a response from the Great Britain office. I was told to use the email address for New York, which I thought I had.
The next email, using the address on their website also went to Great Britain. Finally, I phoned and got someone who could straighten things out, and my refund was received.
Shortly after that, I got another email from MPB, saying they needed bank information so they could process my refund. I responded, using the email address, telling them I didn't want another refund. I haven't heard from them since, so I think all is as it should be.

After my email to MPB asking why after a week my camera still hadn't been sent, Amelia looked into it. It then went out the same day around 4PM and I received it the next day by noontime. I chose a camera body rated Excellent, and what I received exceeded my expectations. Buying a used body, I expected to open the box and find the body in the middle somewhere wrapped in bubble wrap. What I found was the original packaging of the camera, with the manual, the operational CD, all the cables, the charger and battery plus the two extra batteries I purchased, and something I had no idea I was getting, the small flash in it's own little carry case that came with the original outfit when new. I had to looked really hard to find any marks on the body that would tell me that this camera was used and not brand new. So although my experience with MPB was off to a slow start, they turned things around and I couldn't be more pleased with the final outcome.

That’s great! Good to know they are still working to satisfy customers.

Just curious, was the camera body an OM-D by any chance?
