Metal prints are awesome. I have several. I feel the colors pop better, and they are obviously more durable than prints or canvas. Finally, all the focus goes on the image. No distracting frame.
Are you using metallic paper or these printed on metal?
My metal paper prints from Meridanpro are excellent. Right now On sale
During 2021, I purchased 68 metal prints and sold 60 of them. Sizes ranged from 16x24 (two) to 40x60 (three). The most frequently sold size was 24x36. I used three labs for these prints: 90%+ came from Black River Imaging, the remainder from Bay or White House Custom Color. WHCC is an independent, family-owned lab in Minneapolis.
BRI and Bay are owned by the same group, their prices, features, and quality are identical. BRI has one significant advantage, which increases in importance as size of the print increases: they do not charge shipping (if the order meets a modest minimum), whereas Bay does. If you're a happy Bay customer you should try BRI--get Bay quality, save the shipping charge. (By the way, WHCC doesn't charge shipping either.)
I had one printed by artbeatstudios.com a couple years ago, and it was very well done (and shipped well, too). You need an appropriate photo for it to look good - I had a scene of a breaking ocean wave, but anything with smooth and reflective surfaces should look good (think automobiles). You do not want to print something with texture or hair or fur on metal. Metal prints resemble the look of Cibachrome for those of you who are old enough to remember that process.
We have 3 large landscapes on metal. The first two were done by Costco and they are excellent. We did have as centerpiece in a room and the 24x36 was too small, Costco max size. We had a 30x40 done by Bay Photo at a cost of $350+ freight. It was perfect and while expensive, we love it. Choose the print carefully because every detail will show including the spots you forgot to remove in the sky. We didn't have any issues but reviewed the image multiple times before uploading to Bay Photo.

I recently had a firework shot of mine printed on metal 10X14 through shutterfly .Great looking print with nice colors.
It wasn`t very expensive with the discount. The print and shipping was $50.00 i believe. It comes with a 3/4-inch piece of foam on the back of it with stuff on it to stick it on a wall if you want. Mine is sitting in a picture holder on top of our entertainment center just below our 65-inch tv hanging on the wall .
Thanks. I've got to give metal prints a try. Kinda scary for an old guy. I do not sell my prints...just personal use. I need a bigger house with more wall space!
I guess I'll give metal a try. I've been using canvas for years. I'm an old dog trying learn new tricks.
I remember Cibachrome. I printed many EKodachrome slides on it.

Cibachrome. That brings back memories. 👍
I have had a half dozen 20"x 30" metal prints made by Costco. They are very impressive and I've sold every one of them. They hang easily and I won't be around if they ever fade.

I love the work done by a small lab in RI called Blazing Editions. Look them up and call them. They are not the cheapest but their work is top notch. They are geared to work with professionals. Best of luck.
40x60. Great definition.
I only use metal, all the framed photos become but laboratories in Florida.
That should have been bug laboratories. We get silverfish eating paper prints.
