The D700 was released about 13 years ago... predated by the D3 (being the first) by approximately
12 months.
Both very good even by todays standards imho...
the pictures being as good as the latest and greatest
unless you need mural or bill board size prints.

Nice! Loved my D700...
I love mine too... it still works flawlessly...
I don't want to give it the kiss of death
so I've just touched wood.
By the way,
this was shot with my D700 too;
and judging by "
Better shots of Barbara's inside plants"
it seems to do a better job than your Leica?

Great shots, Abo.
Thanks Earnest,
It's a photogenic car...
and for the second frame I had great light.
Nice shot of the car-interesting license plate.
I think the D700 has achieved legendary status.

The D3 (that has the same sensor) even more so I think.
The number plate is courtesy of MS Paint mostly
Thanks for the kind comments.

Treat it lovingly.
I've always babied it, even at work.
They are very good shots.
Beautifully composed, Alan. The downloads are fabulous.
Nice! There’s nothing wrong with an old camera.
I actually shoot my D700 more than my D810. Between the two I am set for the rest of my life.
