Nice shots, as usual! Most of the weight in those cars must be in the front bumpers.

That 51 Pontiac has so many amenities, all the addon's really makes it stand out. And your photo really makes it pop.

Beauties…. However, Buicks without holes are no longer Buicks.

I can't imagine how much money all those vehicles would total up to.

The BOC's were Mushmobiles with SlipOmatic Transmissions but we loved them. GM's powerful straight 8 engines... long hoods. Yes, the 50 Merc was for sure an evil-looking bubble butt. Chevrolet, I said never change the oil, the straight 6 leaked so much you just added... they kept the dust down on dirt roads.

Chevrolet, yuck so down-to-earth conventional... The car forecasted the boy's future into manhood and girls did not want Chevrolet guys, but their mothers said they should. In Grand Blanc / Flint my HiSchool buddies went to work for GM at 18 and retired later after years of faithful boring punch press duties replaced by automated robots that were not members of the Union.

I started work at the Ford Wayne Assembly Plant the day after I graduated from High School. I worked there four days & decided there had to be something better in life than that. A week later I got a telegram from them stating that if I didn't come back to work I would lose my seniority. I thought that was hilarious.

Early attempt at air conditioning. It would hold some water and the air passing over the water was cooler than the air inside the car. The "low-rider" crowd loves those for some reason.
