Those are great shots. 1 & 4 are my favorites and are very impressive. I can't remember anyone previously having posted the Genesee falls. That shot is just spectacular.

Nice work. I, too, prefer shots like these without people.

So, for the last year or so I have been seeking out and shooting a lot of waterfalls. Before heading to a workshop on the Oregon Coast I stopped and spent a couple of days going up and down both sides of the Columbia River Gorge. I stopped at Multnomah Falls (along with a couple hundred other folks!) and was expecting to be aggravated because of all of the people. However, I was able to find a nice little spot on the main viewing platform and started taking some shots. I've seen so many shots of this waterfall and was telling myself to be prepared for people to be standing on the bridge that separates the two levels of the falls because that is what I've seen in other shots. Well, the bridge was off limits due to some repairs being done. So I was happy to not have people on the bridge in my shots, but the sacrifice is that you can see what looks almost like black plastic bags hanging over the bridge rail. I assume this has something to do with the repairs.

The other waterfall I really was looking forward to was Panther Creek Falls and it did not disappoint. This falls sits down maybe 80 feet down in a gorge on the Washington side and the wall the water falls over is just so green and lush, it looks like something out of a fairy tale.

The final shot is from this week and is from Letchworth State Park in western New York. I stopped there after dropping my son back off at college and got lucky with a pretty dramatic sky. Can't wait to try this again next fall with all the foliage.
