Most of my work is not photographing the Tiger Squadron. Most of the money I made is from beach photography, scenic shots, sunsets, solar eclipse, tall ships and Dragsters going down the track at 320 m.p.h. and watching the engine blow. This is only achieved shooting at as many frames per second you can get out of your camera.
My D850's with the battery packs will shoot up to 9 frames a second. Look forward to higher bursts with the Z9 for action shots like the one I caught flying to Catalina with the TS. Camera was on 9 FPS, I just held the shutter down and happened to capture this image.
The plane came out very dark so I used photoshop to lighten it. Applied a little fixer to it.
Robert Heights Funny car exploding is a picture I took with my iPhone of a metal print but I did shoot the photo at the Drag races.
