Thanks, nimbushopper--this wasn't the best time of day for photographic lighting (missed capturing many scenes that were into the sun) but any day out in the countryside is a great day!

Thank you, Rowedean! I made a point of going to the overlook many times since it has such a commanding view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Most enjoyed going there for the Milky Way.
