Started this day out at the overlook, then drove up to the end of County Road #7, which took the morning. After that, we headed over to Owl Creek Pass, which I will have to add as a second part. Unfortunately, most of the scenery that caught my eye along CR #7 was into the sun, so not a lot of favorites that morning. But the afternoon on the Pass offered much more varied scenery.

I appreciate that, Mike. I had kind of a hard time processing these because the early morning light wasn't so good for the Sneffel's range; but I 've come to the conclusion that the orientation of these mountain peaks is probably better captured in the summer when the sun travels on a more northerly axis. Between shadows and clouds, I never felt I got the sharp details I had hoped for. But I sure loved being there, no matter what!
